"16 and Pregnant" dad Eric Kennemer is reportedly in the ICU after being involved in a nasty car wreck. According to an Us Weekly report on January 10, Kenner's grandmother, Barbara James, shared a message with her friends and followers on Facebook this past Sunday, January 8, and informed them that her grandson had been involved in an accident the previous evening. James went on to reveal that Kennemer, who is dad to 5-year-old daughter Kaylee and 2-year-old daughter Rylee, was currently in the ICU of a Houston, Texas hospital. James also requested that people say a prayer for his wife, Myranda Trevino.

'16 and Pregnant' Myranda Trevino speaks out

In addition to James' statement to her Facebook audience, Kennemer's wife, Trevino, posted a message of her own. In her message, which was written to God, Trevino prayed for her husband to have the strength to pull through his injuries and become well again. Trevino went on to pray that she would have the strength to remain strong for their children. "Please let [Eric] come home soon," the "16 and Pregnant" star wrote, adding, "His children need him very much."

Myranda Trevino and Eric Kennemer were married on November 2013

As Us Weekly revealed to readers, Trevino and Kennemer appeared on season four of the MTV reality series alongside the likes of Mackenzie Douthit McKee, Katie Yeager, Briana DeJesus and Alex Sekella, who went on to star in the series' spin-off show, "Teen Mom 3," which was shockingly cancelled after just one season.

The '16 and Pregnant' franchise lost another star last month

Weeks before Kennemer's accident, Valerie Fairman, who starred on season two of "16 and Pregnant," tragically died of a suspected drug overdose. As fans of the franchise may recall, Fairman struggled with an addition to drugs for years and was never able to conquer her addiction. In response to her death, several of her fellow reality stars, including Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry and Farrah Abraham, spoke out about their sadness.
