According to various sources including the Heavy website, this year's tree is a Norway Spruce from Oneonta, New York. It measures in at 94 feet in height and 56 feet in width, making for yet another large tree in place for the holiday season.

As seen above, the tree has already been previewed ahead of tonight's big special. It should be another entertaining edition of the event, but that will mean the special will need some celebrity guests and performers.

Tonight's show will be hosted by "Today" show anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales, who all were a part of the "Macy's Thanksgiving Parade" hosting.

They'll help with the holiday special event by introducing guests, giving fun facts about the event or tree, and moving the festivities along for the two-hour special.
