Game of Thrones season 6 episode 9 is titled "Battle of the Bastards" and will focus on the long-awaited battle near Winterfell between Jon Snow and Sansa Stark's army and Ramsay Bolton's soldiers. Here are somespoilers, theories and predictions for GOT 6x09 and the HBO's official video trailer. Be careful, spoilers will follow!

GOT season 6 episode 9, HBO's promo video trailer.

Let's start with the official video trailer of the next episode, "Battle of the Bastards".

HBO hasn't released yet the summary of the next Game of Thrones' installment, but, as you can see in the trailer, what is going to happen is pretty clear.

GOT 6 episode 9 spoilers: Littlefinger's possible intervention.

Ramsay's soldiers outnumber the Starks' soldiers, but we are pretty sure Ramsay is going to be defeated. Many fans believe that Littlefinger could be the one who saves the days, since Sansa wrote him a letter asking for help. If Littlefinger moves the army of the Vale and reaches Winterfell in time, he can easily decide the result of the battle.

Who else can save the day for Jon and Sansa?

Besides Littlefinger who could help Jon and Sansa? We can speculate (as we have done before) that in Game of Thrones season 6 episode 9 one or more northern houses will betray the Boltons (check the next paragraphs for more details).

The Tully's army hypothetically can join the battle in the North, since Lord Edmure in GOT 6x08 surrendered to Jamie Lannister ending the siege after the capture of Riverrun by the Blackfish.

Jamie promised that no harm will be doneto the Tullys after the surrender and he will keep his word; on the other hand, Lord Edmure is far from being a bravecommander... The chance that the Tullys will join the Battle of Bastards are verysmall but we cannot exclude they will march north.

The North remembers: possible betrayals in Ramsay's army.

Nobody likes Ramsay Bolton and the northern men are known to be very proud and loyal to the Starks. We're pretty sure one or more houses will betray Ramsay, possibly the Manderlys, the richest house in the north, led by Lord Wyman Manderly, who is actually plotting against the Boltons in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series.

We cannot be sure the Manderlys will be the ones who betray Ramsay in the show, but we're pretty sure we will see a change of sides from some of the soldiers in the Bolton's army.

A Stark is probably going to die.

Reddit user Truede, who claims to have inside information on the show, released some serious spoilers about Game of Thrones season 6. About the "Battle of the Bastards" episode Truede hinted that the Stark who is going to die is Rickon, and that he's going to bekilled on the battlefield:according to Truede's hints, Rickon will die in Jon's arms reached by one of Ramsay's arrows.

Davos will find out what happened to Shireen.

As we can see from the trailer, Davos will find the place where the lovely Shireen was burned by Melisandre and Stannis Baratheon.

As you can imagine, the Onion Knight is not going to like what the red priestess have done to the child.

Don't forget the air date of Game of Thrones season 6 episode 9: the penultimate episode of this season airs on June 19 on HBO.
