Calvin Harris was involved in a very minor car accident on Monday 27th June when he reversed his 4x4 into a wall as he was trying to escape from the paparazzi. Calvin Harris was fuming after being harassed by the paparazzi, so he stormed off in his car.
The paparazzi were trying to quiz the Scottish DJ on his past 15 month relationship with ‘Bad Blood’ singer Taylor Swift who is now in a new relationship with British actor Tom Hiddleston. Reporters are eager to get statements on Taylor’s new relationship as she has been criticized for being insensitive in the amount of time she has taken between relationships.
Calvin was desperately trying to get away from all of the questions and snapping of the paparazzi when he got into his SUV and slammed the rear door of his car into a brick wall.
Calvin Harris apologises on Twitter for his anger
The crash was not serious, Calvin was not injured, but the car was left with some scrapes and scratches. The paparazzi caught the DJ in public as he was just leaving the gym in California and took the opportunity to try to get a statement from the musician about how he felt about his ex moving on so quickly with another British star, they also asked him ‘Who are you dating now’, all questions which Calvin ignored and instead ran to his car to get away.
Once Calvin had calmed down from the incident he took to Twitter to apologise for the situation, he tweeted “I got mad as hell at a paparazzi today, I’m sorry, you did make me back into a wall but I know you’re just doing your job and I apologise.”
Calvin Harris’ second crash this year
This is not the first time this year that Calvin has crashed his car, he suffered from a more serious accident on the 21st of May when he collided with another car in LA.
This accident left him in hospital and he was treated for injuries to the face.
In the accident on Monday, the 32-year-old didn’t realise that he had left the rear car door open and so it scraped against the wall when he reversed the huge vehicle.
