While it has almost become common knowledge that governments and corporations use various astroturfing techniques for social engineering and spreading propaganda, the recent Seth Rich controversy seems to have exposed their (or someone else's?) efforts. Seth Rich was an employee for the DNC who was fatally shot in Washington DC. The shooting is still under investigation by the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.

Hundreds of possibly automated bot accounts have been posting the same comment over and over again on Twitter. Here are some examples:

There's more

Notice how all tweets contain the exact same phrase: “Fox news staffers 'disgusted' at network’s promotion of Seth Rich conspiracy theory.” If you use Twitter and if you're familiar with how this social network works, you probably know that this is not what actual, human-made posts look like.

Why would dozens of people copy and paste the exact same sentence?

A Twitter user posted a video recording hundreds of supposed bot accounts posting the exact same tweets and using the exact same phrase.

The law enforcement and the media are describing these claims as "fake news." Is someone covering something up here? Why else would we have hundreds of bot accounts spreading these messages on social media?

Who murdered Seth Rich?

This brings us to the most important question of all: who murdered Seth Rich? Whoever did it, clearly has something to hide.

Why would there be hundreds of tweets, actively trying to change the narrative and push an agenda? Does Seth Rich's murder have something to do with the leaked DNC emails in 2016? A recent tweet from the WikiLeaks official Twitter account points to that conclusion. WikiLeaks published an audio tape of the American investigative journalist, Seymour Hersh, discussing Seth Rich's murder.

Hersh confirmed that Seth Rich had contacted WikiLeaks with sample emails from the leak:

WikiLeaks would not have published this on their official Twitter account, if it wasn't indeed Rich that had contacted them with sample emails.

According to Big League Politics, "In an audio recording provided to Big League Politics by a source that currently wishes to remain anonymous, journalist Seymour Hersh confirms that Seth Rich had contacted WikiLeaks with sample emails from the leak."

Will we ever get proper answers to all these questions, or will the people who murdered Rich flood other websites with these spam messages, with a little help from the mainstream media? The media has already lost the trust of the nation and they are digging themselves a grave with concealing the truth. The people are catching up to what's happening, and we just aren't sure who to point our fingers at.

Will we ever get answers? That remains to be seen, but this attack on Twitter and its users should not be ignored or ever forgotten.

Neither should Rich. We all deserve the truth. Why is it being hidden away from us? What do they have to hide and, most importantly, who is hiding the truth from the people?

Whoever is doing this could be involved in Seth Rich's murder.
