A wedding ceremony is not on the couple’s agenda
Since the time they got re-engaged, wedding rumors have swirled. The recent reports suggest that the couple has tied the knot. But Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray Cyrus, set things right – they are not married. Family members refuted the news saying that the “Wrecking Ball” singer and her fiancé are still in the engaged status and have no plans to marry anytime soon.
Liam Hemsworth is sporting a new ring which was presumed to be a wedding ring, as per TMZ. The “Hunger Games” actor explained that it is just a promise ring and not the wedding band; it was a promise to his fiancée of his fidelity and love. Some lovers give promise rings to assure the beloved that eventually they will get married.
The couple is working on keeping their relationship strong, but they are not prioritizing the altar date, writes E! News. This was revealed by the former Disney star’s mother who once said that the wedding was not in the pair’s agenda. Cyrus’ father said that if his daughter and Hemsworth are happy, then that is all that matters. The Cyrus family are content with their children's present status.

Facing a minister or a priest at the altar, exchanging vows, and signing a marriage contract are the things lacking in Cyrus and Chris Hemsworth’s brother’s relationship. In essence, they are husband and wife. They live together, enjoy spending time with their respective families, and share material things under one roof.
The “Expendables 2” actor and the “Younger Now” album-maker may not end up marrying at all. Before they parted ways in 2013, Billy Ray Cyrus said that they were happy as a couple, but they eventually broke off the relationship. At present, he also said that they are happy together, and he has to be content with what he observes.
Since a wedding ceremony is not on their agenda, it could mean that they are opting to keep things as they currently are – unmarried but living together. Hopefully, with the promise that comes with a ring, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth will not end in separation, which is easier to do because of the absence of a legal bond.
