Honda is definitely one of the best auto makers the World over. It has carried on this legacy for years and years. Even more exciting, the 2018 Honda Accord is all set for its official unveiling on July 14, 2017 in Detroit. I will definitely watch the livestream broadcast on Youtube.

Personally, I highly anticipate the unveiling of this mid-sized sedan. Finally, rumors and speculations will either be confirmed or debunked. I have since been in constant pursuit for details of the 2018 Honda Accord. Some have proven to be disappointing while others have made me even more Excited.

However, those were just mere speculations so I can't entirely keep my hopes up.

Accord launch, a trip back to memory lane...

It's not so much of the Accord per se. It is simply because it is a Honda. This brings me back to the "not-so-distant" past when I first had my car. Not to reveal so much of my age, but this was back in 1996. I had a 1994 Honda Civic LX. I was very contended with its performance that I continued driving it in spite of acquiring yet another Honda back in 2001, a CR-V. I finally had to let it go years later in 2007.

Both my Civic and CR-V were witnesses to my development as an individual. Both were my companions in countless of road trips from West to East. Those were incredible moments as a young man discovering the world around him with his cars as allies.

The 2018 Honda Accord clearly boasts of upgrades which is sure to make it one of best mid-sized sedans. The sketch recently made available got me even more interested. It does look like a typical Accord, however, it suggests a more aggressive and athletic Accord version. To make things more interesting, the Honda Accord won second place for being domestically produced.

This is most likely the case for the latest Accord as well.

To my delight, some reports suggest that the 2018 Honda Accord will have a more modern turbocharged inline-4 engine as opposed to the widely-used V-6. This is sure to provide more improved output. It also is expected to be even more efficient and more fun to drive.

Is it worth the wait?

Definitely! As with all other car unveiling, fans are eagerly waiting to see what is in store. I personally think that such event provides a first-hand look of the car. With the expected improvements associated with the 2018 Accord, it is highly-likely to draw in crowds and viewers the world over.

The 2018 Honda Accord is sure to be my next car. I just can't wait for it to be available in dealerships not too long after the unveiling. I am looking forward to take it for a spin before finally having it in my garage with a special place intended for this special car. I am sure I will not be disappointed.
