A few days following the Central Intelligence Agency's claims that Russia hacked and tampered with the 2016 Presidential Election, Trump needs a diversion. Yesterday, Trump announced that Rex Tillerson, the CEO of Exxon Mobile, would be nominated as Secretary of State. So, being that these nominations and allegations are incredibly important, what is the best way to deflect media coverage away from these issues? Well, you throw them a bone, like Trump has done in the past. The thing about the media is that they always go for the bone. This time, that bone happens to be rapper #Kanye West.

Prior to being hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center, Kanye recently endorsed #Donald Trump at one of his shows.

He said, "Ya'll know I didn't vote right? If I did, I would have voted Donald Trump." This caught everyone by surprise, considering his actions towards the last Republican President, when he said "George Bush doesn't care about black people" on live television. Even his wife, Kim Kardashian, had taken selfies with Hillary Clinton, and openly supported her throughout her campaign. So, what was this meeting all about, anyway?

Cabinet position?

Although Trump claimed they spoke about "life" during a brief moment with the media, this call was certainly about something more significant. Could Trump be getting ready to offer Kanye West some sort of Ambassador position within his cabinet? I think it's possible.

Donald Trump needs to build a relationship with minorities, in particular, the black community.

Considering the super short list of candidates willing to help Trump accomplish this, Kanye may be his best, and only option. Dr. Ben Carson could have been that guy, but his open support for Trump throughout the campaign probably ruined that.

Kanye for President 2020?

Kanye West announced during an acceptance speech earlier this year that he was planning to run for President in 2020. At the time, people brushed it off like a typical "Kanye" thing to say. However, given the results of the 2016 Presidential Election, it seems like anything is possible. #Russia
