Grey's Anatomy is a medical drama television series aired by ABC and created by Shonda Rhimes.

The series portrays the life of medical interns, residents and attendings at Seattle's fictional Grace Hospital and their gradual evolution into seasoned doctor, while focusing also on their personal lives and relationships.

Grey's Anatomy first aired on March 27th, 2005 as a mid-season replacement and has been renewed for a thirteenth season, which premiered on September 22nd, 2016.

Grey's Anatomy cast members have undergone major changes throughout the thirteen seasons, with many major characters leaving and being replaced by new ones.

Grey's Anatomy also won several awards including 2007 Golden Globe Award for the Best Television Series and multiple Emmy Nominations.
