It's no secret that Donald Trump makes a habit out of lashing out on social media [VIDEO]. In his most recent tweet, the president decided to once again insult the leader of #North Korea.

Trump on North Korea

Throughout the entire 2016 presidential election [VIDEO], Donald Trump spent a lot of time on social media to vent his frustrations. After initially clashing with the majority of the mainstream media during the early stages of his campaign, the former host of "The Apprentice" decided to bypass the traditional press by using #Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms to get his message out to the American people without the challenge of reporters and journalists pushing back.

In addition to targeting the media, who he refers to as "fake news," Trump has also hit back against celebrity critics, Democrats, and even members of his own Republican Party. However, it's been Trump's controversial and reckless tweets about other foreign leaders that have caused the most concern, most notably his remarks about North Korea and leader #Kim Jong-un. After North Korea launched several test missiles in the region earlier this year, Trump went on the attack, giving Kim the nickname of "Rocket Man," which he doubled down on while speaking to the United Nations. As Trump moves forward with his current foreign trip through Asia, he decided to mock Kim with another tweet on November 11.

Taking to his Twitter account on Saturday night, Donald Trump mocked and trolled Kim Jong-un by targeting the North Korean leader's height and weight.

"Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me 'old,' when I would NEVER call him 'short and fat?'" Trump tweeted out in mockery of Kim.

Not stopping there, Donald Trump didn't appear too concerned with the ramifications about his words against North Korea. "Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!" he wrote. As of press time, neither Kim Jong-un nor the North Korean press have responded to Trump's insult on Twitter.

Over the last week, Donald Trump appeared reserved on social media as he made stops in Japan, China, Vietnam, and South Korea. It was only when the president made his way to the Philippians, the final stop on his trip, that he unloaded in typical Trump fashion. In addition to his post about North Korea, Trump also ripped into his "haters" and the "fools" who question his recent praise of Russia and Vladimir Putin.
