The "Harry Potter" franchise has grown immensely since the release of the very first novel "Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone." Over the past few years, J.K Rowling has written a play set some years after the series ended. She has also announced a prequel series of movies the first of which, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," had Hogwarts fans lining up for weeks. This coming October will see the release of even more "Harry Potter" books. These books will not be extensions of the story following character Harry Potter. Instead, they will focus on the history of the Wizarding World offering fans a never seen before insight into the world of "Harry Potter.

A celebration of the series

According to the Business Insider, a publisher at Bloomsburg has recently made the announcement that the "Harry Potter" franchise will be getting the addition of two brand new books. The books are being released to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the "Harry Potter" series. These new additions are to follow the history of the wizarding world and are part of the "History of Magic" series. The titles of these additions are "Harry Potter: A History of Magic, The Book of the Exhibition" and "Harry Potter, A Journey Through a History of Magic."

The book "A History of Magic" will give fans an in-depth knowledge as to the kind of subjects that protagonists Harry, Ron, and Hermione studied at Hogwarts.

The book will be a breakdown of the school curriculum and fans can not wait to get their hands on it. The second book "A Journey Through a History of Magic" will focus on famous witches and wizards of the past. It will include a detailed history of the past as well as information about different magical creatures.

The books are tied to exhibition

According to the Independent, these new books are already tied to an upcoming exhibition which is due to take place in London. The exhibition will be carried out in the British Library and fall into the theme of the subjects studied at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Also included in this exhibition will be four books each donning one of the house crests.

These books include information about the houses including character profiles and illustrations.

The exhibition will only be available until February 2018. The two new "Harry Potter" history novels are due to be released in October. This is the same month that the exhibition will begin. Fans are delighted that J.K Rowling is inviting them to explore the wizarding world in a brand new light.
