Andre Romelle Young is known to the world as the remarkable and notorious Dr. Dre. The business tycoon has promised to give $10 Million in the year 2020 to help further develop Compton High School’s center for performing arts.

Engineers will construct his investment in his hometown of Compton, California within the city’s Unified School District. The center will also have a theater in it as well. The entrepreneur mentioned in a declaration to Variety that he has a mission with this act of humanitarianism. He asserted that the purpose of the whole ordeal is to allow children access to the proper learning apparatuses that they rightfully merit.

The man in the mirror told the press that the new Performing Arts Center would become an establishment where young people can freely be inventive in a way that heightens their learning skills and eventually helps characterize their future endeavors.

Young's many highlights as Dr. Dre

Dr. Dre is an American businessman, hip-hop artist, and music producer. The current CEO of Beats Electronics and Aftermath Entertainment was beforehand the co-proprietor of Death Row Records. He has created collections for and directed the professions of many rappers whose careers are iconic when it comes to success. He is also widely known as the originator of West Coast G-funk. It’s a type of hip-hop music depicted as based on synthesizers and having both direct and substantial beats to it.

Back in July 2008, Dre engaged in his first electronic entrepreneurship. He entitled the product, Beats by Dr. Dre. By May 2014, the Apple Corporation bought the headphone franchise for $3 billion. The transaction became the company’s most extravagant purchase ever. The arrangement made Dr. Dre the wealthiest Man in the Hip-Hop industry.

He’s still topping the charts on that note. As of 2017, he stands as rap’s third most prosperous figure with total assets estimated at $740 million.

Dre gives his dream back to Compton

The multi-million-dollar donation is a gift to the town of Compton.

According to The Rolling Stone, it’s a blessing the performer made not too long ago back in 2015.

He commented that he would deliver all proceeds from his album ‘Compton’ to fund the development of a performing arts center in the area that raised him as a child.

There is no doubt that he came through on that promise. It appears that despite all the fortune and fame Dre didn't forget the city that made him. He seems well aware that he's endured a lot and thankfully looks forward to giving back to his community.
