"The Morning Joe" and Donald Trump honeymoon has officially ended. The once friendly and cozy relationship between President Donald J. Trump and MSNBC's host of "Morning Joe," Joe Scarborough, may have come to an abrupt end on Friday. Mr. Scarborough was set off by a Trump tweet Friday afternoon blasting the media. The Trump tweet said the "Fake News media" that includes the New York Times, NBC News, CBS News and CNN, are not his enemy but actually an enemy of the American people. According to Mediaite.com, Mr. Scarborough was echoing his co-host on "Morning Joe," Mika Brzezinski.
The tweet was a theme of the infamous impromptu Trump news conference Thursday afternoon.
Trump news conference quickly deteriorated
The news conference started as an announcement that Alex Acosta would be his nominee for Labor Secretary to replace Andrew F. Puzder. It was Mr. Puzder that withdrew his name when Republican support had evaporated seemingly overnight. After that announcement, the news conference deteriorated into a slamming of the First Amendment by Trump.
The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!

Scarborough and Brzezinski agree Trump presidency a 'fake'
Ms.
Brzezinski had labeled Trump’s presidency on Friday morning on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" as "fake." She said that Trump repeated one lie on top of "another lie, on top of another lie." She concluded, "It’s a fake presidency.” And Mr. Scarborough agreed, and he went on a tweet rage, too:
Only a FAKE PRESIDENT would declare the First Amendment to be the enemy of the American people. https://t.co/ZFZvlTf8Az

Someone is cranky that Gallup has him at 38% and Pew has him at 39%. So now he's resorting to FAKE TWEETS. SAD! https://t.co/ZFZvlTf8Az

Trump blames his troubles on 'fake media'
The press conference started with the announcement that Alex Acosta would be Trump's nominee for Labor Secretary.
Mr. Acosta is the dean of the College of Law at Florida International University and chairman of Doral-based U.S. Century Bank, serving as the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Florida. He is also a graduate of Harvard Law School and a former clerk for Justice Samuel Alito. After this, the news conference deteriorated quickly.
Trump played the victim, blaming all his troubles on the "media," and, more specifically, what he calls the "fake media."

Trump claimed the "fake media" have spread this "fake news" about his close ties to Russia, the controversial "Muslim" travel ban, and the troubles surrounding the leaks of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
