Hopefully, Trump will keep his promise and watch the climate documentary

After the meeting Tamminen made a statement to Associated Press saying, "Today, we presented the president-elect and his advisors with a framework — which LDF developed in consultation with leading voices in the fields of economics and environmentalism — that details how to unleash a major economic revival across the United States that is centered on investments in sustainable infrastructure."

During the 90 minute meeting, which was reportedly a good one, Trump was receptive and even suggested another one next month.

Tamminen announced that they were keen for this to happen, "as we work to stop the dangerous march of #Climate Change while putting millions of people to work at the same time."

Donald Trump stand on climate change worried many during campaign

During his campaign, Donald Trump worried a lot environmentalists through some of his more absurd statements about climate change and global warming and the press reported that he had at times referred to it as a hoax, and a scam, so it is encouraging that Trump and DiCaprio had what sounds like an amicable and serious discussion. Hopefully, the next meeting will take place and that Trump will watch the climate change documentary "Before the Flood."

"Before the Flood" has been described a fascinating documentary and many celebs have commented on the strong presentation of this global problem.
