As Black Friday 2016 deals continue, video game systems are always hot for the latest sales. This year is no different as both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems are featured across multiple sales. These include Amazon's Black Friday Deals Week, which has recently announced reduced prices on the item for the holiday #Shopping season. Could it help make the Microsoft gaming system the better seller of the two video game systems this season?

Xbox One bundle reduced prices

Microsoft's Xbox One gaming system bundles normally sell for $349 or more. However, Amazon has recently reduced prices on a variety of these special bundles. The packages include the game system, as well as a controller and at least one game title. Right now, the online seller has slashed the price by $50 on the select Xbox One bundles, according to GameSpot.

Amazon lists the Xbox One S 1 terabyte console with Battlefield 1 game as its best seller. It is reduced in price from $349.99 down to $299 right now. There is also a 1TB Gears of War 4 bundle selling at the same price. Both a 500GB version of the Battlefield 1 bundle and a 500GB Minecraft bundle are each under $300 as well. Gamers who want the Madden NFL 17 bundle will need to spend $349 right now.

Should shoppers buy now?

It's always a delicate decision when it comes to the Black Friday shopping season. There are a variety of retailers offering the Xbox One for just $249 in their Black Friday sales ads. However, many of these are doorbuster deals. That would mean getting in line early for a store and then hoping to be one of the lucky customers to grab one in the crowd of shoppers.

With online shopping, the deals are made available usually for time sensitive sales, or while supplies last. So the lower prices on the Xbox bundles right now at Amazon may last a few days or simply sell out. Customers will need to decide how badly they want to make sure they have the gaming system for the person on the list they're buying for.

Will Xbox One outsell PS4?

As mentioned, both the Xbox One from Microsoft and Sony's PlayStation 4 are going on sale for the Thanksgiving or Black Friday sales. Most of the advertised top deals have these video game systems for $249.99, which is a great price. They will mostly be offered as doorbusters in stores, or online as supplies last.

As of this report, the best sellers for video games reveal that a $399 Sony PlayStation 4 is outselling any Xbox system. The PS4 is ranked at No. 7 on the bestsellers list, but the Xbox One is not far behind at No. 8. With the newest reduced price deals, it could very well see a boost on the bestsellers list.

Black Friday comes in just a few days as most retailers will offer their big sales and discounted prices on Thanksgiving Day 2016 and Friday. The question is will shoppers continue to line up at stores, or will more people continue to turn to the convenience of online shopping? #Holidays #blackfriday
