The Walt Disney World will be opening new attractions in the coming years, including a restaurant that will take visitors to a space-themed dining and a new Ratatouille-themed ride.

People reported that Disney announced a set of new additions to its theme parks during the D23 Expo in Anaheim held recently. One of the notable additions is a new restaurant in the Epcot location just beside the existing astronaut simulation ride called “Mission: Space.”

The new restaurant, which will be constructed in the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow park in Disneyland reportedly, will take guests to a space-like dining experience.

According to the People report, the new restaurant will offer a table service dining, that includes a one-of-a-kind outer space experience.

During this year’s D23 Expo, Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald stated that guests at the Disney World theme park always love to eat at Epcot, People noted. With the new dining space opening soon, it will almost be like a literal food experience with the stars, astronauts and planets.

No official name yet

According to the official release by Disney, the new space-themed restaurant will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group. It is the same group that managed other dining locations at Walt Disney World, such as the Via Napoli at Epcot, Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs and Tutto Italia.

Reports said that there is no official name yet given to the new restaurant at Epcot.

The theme park encourages fans to keep checking out their official website for updates and new information. They said they always want their fans to be the first to know about recent developments.

Fans are excited for the upcoming construction of the diner.

They are hoping that the food will taste great.

“I’m really excited for the restaurant! I am highly hoping that the food will be unlike what we've tasted before at Disney!” a fan commented on the official website.

Another fan wrote, “This is probably a new building adjacent the Space Pavilion on the side of Test Track."

Ratatouille-themed ride

Moreover, a new Ratatouille-themed ride is opening soon at Walt Disney World.

According to Slash Film, the themed ride will make its debut in the North American location of the park. The ride has been present at Disneyland Paris since 2014.

The article explained that the new Ratatouille Ride, when constructed will not have a hard time finding its own space. This is because there is already an existing France-themed location at Walt Disney World, including a mock-up Eiffel Tower.
