According to News Hub, family-friendly movies with ambitious newborns and thrill-seeking emojis will be released throughout the month. At least four films are scheduled to be released this Easter. These include “#The Lost City of Z,” “Queen of the Desert,” “Spark: A Space Tail,” and “Tommy's Honour.” Post-production of the films is finished, and tickets are now being sold online.

'The Lost City of Z'

The Lost City of Z” is one of the most anticipated films of the year. Director James Gray confirmed the release date of the movie last night through his official Twitter account. The movie will open in the US and Canada this Easter.

A recently released teaser trailer gives glimpses of the character of Sienna Miller. We must say that she looks smashing, and fans have high expectations for the project. Also, Gray is being talked about for “The Catcher was a Spy,” “The Private Life of a Modern Woman,” “The Burning Woman,” and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” The director says that all of these films will hit a theater near you this summer.

'Queen of the Desert'

Werner Herzog has directed “Queen of the Desert.” In recent years, he released dozens of movies about quixotic quests. Just like his heroes, Herzog earns awards for every successful project. It will open in the United States on April 16.

The first footage was showcased at the 2016 Toronto Animation Arts Festival International. Open Road Films acquires the distribution rights. “Spark: A Space Tail” is a story of a monkey and his friends. Spark (Jace Norman), Vix (Jessica Biel) and Chuck (Rob deLeeuw) struggle to take back the planet from the evil General Zhong (Alan C. Peterson).

'Tommy's Honour'

Tommy’s Honour” is one of the most anticipated films. If you’ve not watched any golf movie in recent months, give a try to “Tommy’s Honour” this Easter. The film gets a release date of April 15 and is about Old and Young Tom Morris. The father and son struggle to make a name in the sports industry. The story is inspired by a book of the same name by Kevin Cook. Director Jason Connery has joined hands with Disney for an animated project that will have the similar story. The film was first announced at the 2016 Edinburgh International Film Festival.
