The #Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, which runs through November 14, 2016, is suitable for guests of all ages. Adults enjoy fine dining and the wine mentioned in the event’s title, as well as other adult beverages. However, since this is #Walt Disney World, the kids have plenty to do, too. One of the most popular family activities is a scavenger hunt featuring Remy of 'Ratatouille' fame It's, an activity that has youngsters searching the park for the famous rat who’s well known for his love of good food. If they successfully find all of his hiding places, they get to collect a reward at the end of the scavenger hunt.

Once kids get the materials, they set off on their hunt around World Showcase. Even though Remy is hiding, he’s usually not too hard to spot. Looking for him helps keeps the youngsters occupied while parts nosh their way around their world at the #Epcot International Food and Wine kiosks. When the kids have successfully located all of wily little Remy’s hiding places, they take their completed hunt map to one of the designated locations to collect their Disney themed prize. The cost is negligible, and it adds a fun element to working your way around the world.

Tracking your Epcot journey

This year, instead of the usual stamps, the free event passports have stickers to help you immortalize your culinary adventures at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. Disney made it much easier this year, since you don't have to remember to ask for a stamp at each kiosk.

Just paste in the appropriate sticker on the pages for each of your stops. Youngsters love taking on the responsibility of handling sticker duty, so appoint them as your official 'trip trackers.' They can keep the completed passport as a souvenir at the end of your Walt Disney World vacation.

Kidcot stops at Epcot

Other kid-friendly activities are found at the Kidcot stops located at each of the World Showcase countries. The park offers Kidcot activities all year, not just for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, so they're an option any time you visit Walt Disney World. The younger members of your party get a Duffy the Disney Bear face that they take with them to decorate at each stop on their adventure. They’ll find a total of eleven stations, each of which gives them a chance to add to their artwork by coloring Duffy and adorning him with stickers. All of the Kidcot activities are included with your park admission.

Doofenshmirtz in various countries around World Showcase. That coincides nicely with the fact that most of the festival food kiosks are in the same area. You can access adventures in seven of the eleven countries using either your smart phone or a special device.
