#Disney Cruise Line has announced their fall and winter holiday-themed cruises. The fun begins on September 2 with the specially themed #Halloween cruise and ends with a New Year's Eve gala celebration to ring in 2017. 

Halloween cruises

The Halloween on the High Seas cruises offers Halloween-themed parties, such as the Mickey's Mouse-querade Party, or A Nightmare Before Christmas-Sing and Scream. They will also be offering a menu featuring 'Ghoulish Delights' such as Spider Cakes and 'Spooky Juice'. People of all ages will enjoy the magic of The Pumpkin Tree as they watch it transform throughout the cruise. 2 though Oct. 31; Disney Fantasy offers 7 night Eastern and Western Caribbean Halloween sailings from Sept.3 to Oct. 29; Disney Magic will offer cruises from 5 night Canadian Coastal cruises, to 7 or 8 night Bahamian cruises from Oct. 2 to Oct. 29.

Holiday cruises

Ramping up for the 2016 Holiday cruises begins on November 5 with turning each ship into a magical winter wonderland. On Thanksgiving Day, guests will be served a Thanksgiving Day Feast and will enjoy visits from Mickey and Minnie dressed in traditional Thanksgiving attire.  For football fans, don't worry, you won't miss the big games over

After Thanksgiving, the Very Merrytime Cruise will be in full swing and will feature a plethora of activities for the family. You can enjoy a night of dancing at Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball, the kids will be able to make Holiday crafts, and experience the awe of Mickey's Tree-Lighting Magic in the atrium which features the lighting of the three-deck-tall tree, Holiday carols led by Disney characters.

If you happen to be sailing on Dec. 25, a special surprise from Santa, for the children, will take place on Christmas morning and the children on board will be able to perform in a special musical performance. A traditional Christmas dinner will be served in the dining rooms Christmas evening.

Holiday services

DCL ships will also offer, to those wishing to attend, Christmas service on Christmas day, and on Christmas Eve there will be a Midnight Mass. Hanukkah services will be held each day beginning Dec. 24 through Jan. 1.
