James Worthy is a #Music producer from Queens, New York, who specializes in making R&B and hip hop music. He is signed with Sony RCA and has worked with popular musicians, such as Bobby Brown, T-Pain, and Bobby V. He operates his own music production company known as Dreammusik Group, which incorporates projects for every genre of music. James works closely with driven, passionate, and creative producers and songwriters to create music that people will love.

This year James will be putting in work to bring to life several artistic projects. More specifically, this includes new songs and albums, reality TV shows, modeling, and more.

Speaking of reality TV shows, you can catch James in an upcoming one titled “From The Bottom Up” starting January 16th on the BET Centric channel. He is even in connection with big names, such as Justin Bieber. It appears that 2016 will be a great year for this rising music producer to share his talent with a wider audience.

1. Where are you originally from?

I am from Queens, NewYork.

2. If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would that be?

It's hard to choose just one word, but to sum it up I would go with "innovative."

3. What inspired you to be a record producer?

Life and sound made me become a beat maker; later on, in life, I became a producer by realizing the power I have of inspiring people around the world.

4. Who have you worked with throughout your career?

Artists like Truth Hurts, Robin S, B Angie B, Bonecrusher, Bobby Brown, T-Pain, Sara Stokes, Terror Squad, Bobby V; the list goes on.

5. How do you view the music industry now?

I see it transitioning into more of a creative space but [emphasis on] quantity than quality.

6. What was your childhood like growing up?

It was very fun but driven because I knew I would be someone great in this world; I just had to figure out how to view it.

7. Who are your musical influences?

Michael Jackson, A Tribe Called Quest, and Kanye West.

8. In a world of negative, what makes you stay positive?

I keep positive energy around me starting with my circle, good music, and waking up knowing I'm doing something I love.

9. You're known in the industry for artist comebacks; who is your latest?

My latest are Robin S, Truth Hurts, B Angie B, and Tony Sunshine. More to come!

10. What is your favorite song right now that you've produced?

I would have to say Truth Hurts - Fight 4 Love.
