The latest updates for "Overwatch" reveal that Blizzard Entertainment will work on new DLC plans for the MOBA sci-fi shooter next year. Game Director Jeff Kaplan announced in the game's official forums (via Gamerant) that video game fans will receive tons of new content and he is excited to reveal them in 2018.

There are new patch updates for "Overwatch" characters Doomfist and Moira. The video game publisher also launched the Blizzard World map this week on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC platform.

New DLC plans next year

According to Jeff Kaplan, Blizzard Entertainment is working on new DLC plans for "Overwatch" next year as a way to keep the video game fans interested after reaching the highest level in the sci-fi shooter.

Kaplan also teased that fans should expect more items and base loot boxes in the future, as it signifies new beginnings and challenges ahead.

For now, the video game publisher launched the Blizzard World map in the game this week as players will explore the massive Blizzard-themed park based on the company's other popular titles like "StarCraft," "Warcraft," "Diablo," "Heartstone," and more.

Blizzard World will be a hybrid map wherein the first phase is to reach the checkpoint. Players will fight their way to reach the checkpoint, while the opposing team prevents them. The second phase will have the team defending the payload, while the other team stops them from reaching their destination.

There are also new skins for "Overwatch" characters based on the popular Blizzard heroes such as Nova, Blackhand, Barbarian, Immortal, Butcher, and Magni Bronzebeard.

Updates for Doomfist and Moira

Blizzard Entertainment launched new patch fixes for Doomfist and Moira in "Overwatch, " and the new changes will likely balance or improve their gameplay styles during matches.

Moira's changes include a bug fix for her Biotic Orb unintentionally passing through map terrains and structures. There are also four new voice lines for her when she shouts her ultimate attack in Spanish and its name has been changed from Fusion to Valencia.

For Doomfist, his wall slamming has been improved as the 45-degree impact angle has been cut off from the target being slammed into the wall, or sliding off. The Rocket Punch bug has been fixed, and Doomfist can now punch through unbreakable barriers. His Seismic Slam will now "slide" at small way up ramps instead of instantly triggering it.
