Autumn Update available now

Last week, the game developer implemented the autumn update that introduced a host of free items, new arenas, and gameplay fixes.

Among the notable addition is the seasonal arena called Farmstead and as the name suggests, the matches are held in a field, with crops and farmland around it.

Gamers can also try out five standardized arenas, namely Starbase Arc, Wasteland, Champions Field (Day), Mannfield (Snowy), and DFH Stadium (Day). Then, they can also grab more than 90 free items to use on their vehicles such as a tiny bunny on top of the car, pinwheels, Taco Boost special effect, and more.

Switch demo announced

Meanwhile, the game is getting a Nintendo Switch demo, but it will only be limited to gamers who are located in New York. On Tuesday, Nintendo tweeted that the demo will be playable at Nintendo store situated at Rockefeller Center in New York from October 5 to October 8.

Apparently, the four-day testing period coincides with the New York Comic Con 2017, which is set to open on Thursday, October 5 and end on Sunday, October 8.

The event is happening at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center that is a few minutes away from Nintendo New York.

"Rocket League" is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms. Psyonix announced at E3 in June that it is porting the game to Switch and the new version will be out in the holiday season of 2017.
