The “Diablo III” fans might be a little sad on the latest report that it will not reveal anything at the Blizzcon. However, that does not mean that there is no reason to be excited at all about other game franchises. It appears that Blizzard has prepared something for the player base of its popular first-person shooter, “Overwatch.” The game has a Mystery Event during the where it is scheduled to open a massive loot box on stage.

Event details

The information was first shared on Reddit by a user named Lamaxtra a couple of days ago. The Redditor shared an image of what appears to be a screenshot of the Blizzard’s page.

As seen in the game developer’s timetable, the upcoming event will be titled “Overwatch Presents: What’s in the Loot Box?” It is scheduled to take place at 5:15 PM Pacific Daylight Time, Level 2 of the North Hall on November 3. The event description states that there is a mysterious event that will happen during this year’s Blizzcon.

What’s in the loot box

As of press time, there is no information about the content of this giant Loot Box that will be opened during the mysterious event. The description in the timetable shown in the Blizzard’s page reveals that the hosts of the event will try to uncover the mystery behind the massive Loot Box that will be on the Epic Stage. The loot box could contain anything.

Several fans are already guessing that it could contain sprays. However, the team behind the popular first-person shooter title has put an enormous effort into coming up with the giant loot box, so there must be something good or special inside.

Blizzcon is scheduled to happen on November 3 and will end on November 4. It will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

During the event, fans will see all the Blizzard’s games. This includes “World of Warcraft,” “Starcraft II,” “Hearthstone,” and “Heroes of the Storm.”

Mercy nerfed

Meanwhile, Blizzard has recently rolled out several changes to the support hero Mercy. She has received a massive overhaul in the past major balance patch. The developer has changed how her Resurrect ability functions and has introduced a new Ultimate dubbed as Valkyrie.

The change appears to have made the hero a little overpowered.

The recent change includes her Resurrect maintaining its 30-second cooldown when her Ultimate is active. Her Ult now increased the range of her Resurrect. These changes are currently on the Public Test Realm of “Overwatch.”
