No doubt, gamers are always on the lookout for free games and new titles every month. This October, there will be different games available for free for PS Plus members. This will no doubt give members the opportunity to try new titles and download games to add to their PlayStation consoles.
Free games for PS Plus members
This October, one of the free titles includes a critically-acclaimed game, the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." This game was released in 2015 with a 10/10 rating from IGN. It is an open-world shooter game with an interesting storyline.
Those who were not able to play it yet will have the chance to try it for free this month.
Aside from that, "Amnesia" is also free this October featuring the "Amnesia:Collection" which allows players to enjoy both "Amnesia: The Dark Descent" and "A Machine for Pigs." To celebrate the one-year anniversary of PlayStation VR, the PlayStation Store will have a huge sale on many VR games.
Along with "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" and "Amnesia," other free games for PS Plus members are:
- Hustle Kings, PS3
- Monster Jam Battlegrounds, PS3
- Sky Force Anniversary, PS Vita
- Hue, PS Vita
Also take note that that all PS Plus members are given access to the new "Hand of the Gods" closed beta that starts on October 17.
Meanwhile, between now and October 3, members can avail of a 30% discount on "Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age" and "Titanfall : Ultimate Edition."
Upcoming PS4 games
Gamers will also be pleased to know that there are new game titles coming to PS4 and PS Vita. The PlayStation blog revealed that the new PlayStation 4 games will be available digitally on the week beginning October 3.
One of the games for PS4 this month includes the latest chapter of TellTale Games' Batman series as well as Dragon's "Dogma: Dark Arisen," which is an enhanced version of Capcom's original action-RPG.
