The exotic merchant Xur has returned to “Destiny 2.” Just like the original game, players can pay a visit to Xur every week between Friday and Tuesday to exchange Legendary Shards for rare weapons and armors. According to a report from GameSpot, the mysterious merchant has appeared near the Winding Cove fast travel point in the EDZ (European Dead Zone). Xur will remain on the said location from October 6 until October 10. It is not difficult to find Xur’s location, but players will need to do a little bit of jumping to get there.

What should players know about Xur?

Players should take note that the mysterious merchant will sell one Exotic weapon and one armor for each class (Hunter, Warlock, and Titan) every week. Players are free to buy all of the items even if they are not playing that class. Players can also stock the items on their vaults and use it on other characters. Just like the original game, merchant Xur only accepts Legendary Shards and not Strange Coins.

Each item that Xur sells in “Destiny 2” requires a maximum power level of 270 and a base power of 265. According to a report from Eurogamer, players should not be worried if they do not have enough Legendary Shards to buy the desired item from Xur because the merchant will likely stock them back soon.

Xur will also not sell Exotic items that are part of Quest lines.

What are the items offered this week?

For this week, Xur will offer four items in “Destiny 2.” The first item is a helmet for Hunter called Foetracer. Foetracer costs 23 Legendary Shards. The second item is a pulse rifle gun called Vigilance Wing. Vigilance Wing can be bought for 29 Legendary Shards.

The third item is a helmet for Warlocks called Nezarec's Sin. The Nezarec's Sin costs 23 Legendary Shards. The fourth and last item is a helmet for Titan called Insurmountable Skullfort. The helmet can be bought for 23 Legendary Shards.

Are the items worth it?

Each item is useful in its own way special way. For example, the Nezarec's Sin helmet can strengthen the rechargeability rate using Void kills.

The Vigilance Wing, the only exotic weapon for this week, is capable of firing five-rounds burst. The pulse rifle can also heal when an ally dies. The Foetracer is one of the best helmets for Hunters. It is capable of tracking opponents around corners and even through the walls in Crucible. The Insurmountable Skullfort helmet in “Destiny 2” is a great pick for Titans because it can boost the strength of the striker subclass.
