The latest updates for "WW 2K18" will have new improvements and features for Create-A-Superstar, MyCareer details, and the Hardy Boyz as DLC wrestlers. 2K Sports announced that the PC version of the game will launch alongside the console versions.

PC version release date and the Hardy Boyz DLC

2K Sports announced that for the first time the PC version of "WWE 2K18" will launch on the same day as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions on Oct. 17. PC users can buy the standard or the deluxe editions of the game on Steam and in other various PC retailer stores around the globe.

The deluxe edition will feature Kurt Angle, Batista, and Rob Van Dam as a pre-order DLC wrestlers, the game's season pass digital content, and the ECW One Night Stand and Wrestlemania 26 versions of John Cena. WWE Superstar Matt Hardy announced on Twitter that he and his brother, Jeff will be added to the sequel as DLC wrestlers and players can purchase them on the deluxe edition, season pass, or on their very own game pack.

The game publisher stated that "WW 2K18" will have the biggest roster in the history of "WWE" games from legends and veterans like John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H, Big Show, The Undertaker, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, to the next generation of superstars like Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Samoa Joe and more.

Create-A-Superstar and MyCareer details

2K Sports revealed new details on the sequel's Create-A-Superstar and MyCareer game modes. Players can choose to be a fan-favorite or a company man in MyCareer and each decision they make will have an effect on their career in the WWE.The company man will be working closely with the General Managers of both Raw and Smackdown, and the player will have to do their bidding such as attacking other wrestlers in the locker room or during interviews to maintain their power.

The fan-favorite, on the other hand, will allow players to excel on their progress in the company by winning and performing well on matches. Players will earn respect from other superstars and gain new in-ring bonuses for their matches and promos.

The sequel's Create-A-Superstar mode will now give player's a chance to choose new sliders for their character's ideal body physique. There are also improvements on the logo mapping for their characters as fans complained about the logo fading away in their attire in the previous game.
