The recent bug that has disappointed many "Pokemon Go" players is now fixed. Niantic Labs recently announced that it has already resolved the issue about the Double Stardust rewards in the Equinox Event of the popular augmented reality game. A few days ago, numerous fans took their disappointments online about the reward not functioning properly.

Niantic Labs is proactively responding to the issues recently reported by its massive fan base. It seems that the game developer is also improving in the way it is handling several issues in the popular augmented reality game.

Latest fix

On its official Twitter account, Niantic Labs shared the good news about the Double Stardust rewards in the Equinox event in "Pokemon Go." According to the developer, all Stardust rewards are now doubled. Players should now find the rewards functioning as intended.

Equinox event

The Equinox Event is the latest activity launched by Niantic Labs to keep players immersed in the game. The event is introduced following the exit of the Legendary Birds named Articuno, Lugia, Moltres, and Zapdos. The event brings along several rewards to players who would like to take part in the activity. This includes the Double Stardust and the special two-kilometer eggs at the Gyms and Pokestops. The eggs contain several surprises such as rare pocket monsters and triple normal XP when the player registers a new creature.

There are also special event boxes that have helpful items. This includes the brand new item Super Incubator. This was first discovered by data miners in the game files. The Super Incubator will help players hatch the eggs 1.5 times faster than the standard incubator.

Other activities

Currently, some trainers are engaged in various activities in the game.

The Legendary Beasts are still on their first rotation. Entei, Raikou, and Suicune are on their designated posts across the globe. The Legendary Beasts will rotate on September 30 and will be available in their new assigned regions.

Aside from the Legendary Beasts and Legendary Raid Battles, some players are busy testing the EX Raid Battle.

Niantic Labs sent out invitations to selected players to test out the new type of Raid Battle that will exclusively feature Mewtwo.

So far, the game developer has not yet provided the timeline for the wide launch of the EX Raid Battles in the game. Players have long been waiting for the arrival of Mewtwo in the augmented reality game. The powerful Legendary creature was predicted to arrive in the game in the earlier part of September.

Meanwhile, a new update was rolled out in "Pokemon Go." The update brought along some quality of life improvements.
