It seems like the highly anticipated game, “Elder Scrolls 6” will not be released this year or next year. It was reported that Bethesda Game Studios, is working on a project based on the popular HBO TV series, “Game of Thrones,” and that the RPG might arrive before ES6. But the company debunked the rumor shortly after it went public.

Thousands of fans have already gained access to Elder Scrolls Online and thankfully, “Elder Scrolls 6” is now playable on Nintendo Switch. Bethesda denied the claims that the “Game of Thrones“ RPG is a priority compared to "Elder Scrolls 6." So, what exactly is going to be released next?

ES Online was released in June 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. 2 years later, we are still waiting.

‘Game of Thrones’ to be featured in ES 6?

Some fans were eager to adjust when the news came out. ES6 might be what millions of loyal gamers are waiting for, but the “Game of Thrones” RPG is not a bad idea. Perhaps it was pitched but not yet made.

It is coming though, not winter, but ES6. According to GamesRadar, the company is hiring new positions, and it is possible that it’s for the improvement of ES6 (hopefully).

Bethesda is also working on the sequel of “The Evil Within” and “Wolfenstein” (wait for it, it is going to be released this coming October).

If they are hiring 20 people, a new project is expected as well because gamers have been waiting for a really long time.

Perhaps there is a surprise for ES6 like new locations and new characters. But here is one hopeful news, ES6 will extend its gaming possibilities, to be available on many platforms.

Fans still waiting for the new game from Bethesda

Even though the “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” was released for Xbox 360 less than six years ago, they were still able to release a Switch version of the RPG this year.

And here is where the good news comes from because according to those who have tested it, it is great so far.

Although it is not that easy to imagine how the game will work in the Nintendo Switch platform, the version introduced the amiibo functionality. The thought of it being difficult will eventually subside as motion controls were added for bow and arrow attacks.

Additionally, playing it in handheld mode makes it better.

Experience the Switch version of “ES V: Skyrim” and “ES Online” while waiting for updates on ES 6 that might be released years from now. Hopefully, fans will be given some feedback by the creators of the game and Bethesda will release it before 2017 ends.
