New details about the highly anticipated “Call of Duty: WWII” are now available. Sledgehammer Games recently announced the System Requirements of the game for the PC platform. In addition, the game’s PC Open Beta will finally start in the later part of the month. This means that PC users can now get to try out the much-talked-about title. The Open Beta for Console started earlier this month and the latest announcement is good news for PC players.

PC Open Beta

The “Call of Duty: WWII” Open Beta for PC players will start on September 29, 2017, and will run until October 2, 2017.

Players can access the game’s beta through Steam. This time, the Beta will be available to all players. This is in contrast to the console Beta where only those who pre-order have access.

According to the game developer, one of the reasons for the game’s open access to everyone is that it would like to stress test the title’s core gameplay system. In addition, a large scale could also help in testing online backend infrastructure. Those who would like to try the game will be able to enjoy a small portion of the title’s entire multiplayer gameplay. The available part will be sufficient to test the netcode of the game.

System Requirements

Sledgehammer Games also released the minimum system requirements of the upcoming title’s beta.

Although the recommended specifications are not included in the most recent announcement, the developer assured fans that it will be disclosed with the next update.

For players who would like to run the game, they need at least an operating system running on Windows 7 64-Bit or later. The central processing unit must be at least Intel® Core™ i3 3225 or equivalent thereof.

In addition, the PC’s random access memory (RAM) must be at least 8 GB while the hard disk drive (HDD) must have a minimum of 25 GB HD space.

For video, the PC must at least have NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 @ 2 GB. AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 @ 2GB or better. For the desktop’s DirectX, it must have at least the Version 11.0 compatible video card or its equivalent.
