Naughty Dog has announced that the latest sequel of the "Uncharted" series will feature a multiplayer mode. Its latest update will be launched next week ahead of “Uncharted 5” or “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy." The game will finally be available on August 22 alongside the Uncharted 4’s multiplayer mode.

‘The Lost Legacy’ new updates revealed

A report published in WCCF Tech revealed that the latest “Uncharted” will include new skins for Chloe and Nadine. These features for the game's newest playable characters will come along side Survival Arena, a new co-operative challenge mode.

Naughty Dog has announced that the updated skins were directly adapted from the game’s latest sequel. Meanwhile, “The Lost Legacy” will also add Asav, the main antagonist of the game, which is also a playable character for the Multiplayer and Survival Mode.

The game's developer further explained that the Survival Arena is a new take on their cooperative mode. It will feature over 100 new waves of enemies, new enemy types, all-new wave modifiers, and new Siege zone. Furthermore, the Arena will allow up to three players to join the battle. It will also offer thousands of combat combinations which can be acquired after completing the game’s newest skin mode, the Savage Starlight Skeleton.

Game’s file size is smaller than fans expected

According to N4g, the “Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” will have an installation size of 44.7GB for PS4 console. The game's latest sequel will feature 1440p resolution and HDR support for players that possess a 4K TV. Hence, it will offer the best resolution graphics with Sony's latest console.

Naughty Dog also revealed that the game’s difficulty would depend on the relationship that players will create between the main two characters. In the game, the “Lost Legacy” will combine the closed environment and freedom of exploration. With this, it can bring new gameplay experiences to the players. For example, Chloe, one of the protagonists, will be able to perform better in melee combat with new tactics and style even though the gameplay will mainly feature shootings.

The game will go on sale exclusively for PlayStation 4 at the price of $39.99.The game’s developer further hinted that they can release new characters and stories. Hence, fans can assume that the latest installment of the series, “Uncharted 5”, is not the last adventure of the franchise. Stay tuned for more updates!
