The Sims 4” is officially on its way to Xbox One and PS4 in November 2017 and fans have grown more curious than ever what the game will be like on consoles. Luckily, the Sims team has been generous in answering the fans’ questions and feeding their curiosity through an interactive platform like Twitter or the official forum.

So far, the Sims team confirmed the top gameplay features for “The Sims 4” on Xbox One and PS4. These include Multiple households, camera controls, “my library,” and great-looking visuals despite not getting 4K support.

Multiple households

In another regular Q&A, the game aficionados asked SimGuruDuke if the multiple households as a key feature on the PC will also be included in the game’s console version. Duke then confirmed that indeed this major gameplay would also be featured in Xbox One and PS4.

He said that the gameplay is identical to PC, adding that players will be able to play multiple households in their save.

Camera controls

Moreover, players on consoles can also take some still screens or footages of their games through the camera controls that will also be available.

Simmers will also have access to “my library,” a feature that will allow them to save their favorite Sims or builds for future usage.

Great-looking visuals

However, those who are fans of 4K gaming will be quite disappointed to hear that the popular life simulation title will not get 4K support on consoles. But they should not fret about it either.

According to SimGuruDuke, despite not providing 4K support, the game does look great. In his tweet, he also mentioned that he cannot wait to show the visual quality of the game running on Xbox One and PS4 at Gamescom 2017.

Apparently, the Sims team said the new gameplay footage would be shown sometime later leading to the official release date of the console version.

The life simulation title is slated to officially hit PS4 and Xbox One on November 17. The pre-order for the console version is available now and comes in two editions: the standard and the Deluxe Party edition.

The PC and Mac version, meanwhile, will finally receive the long-awaited Pets DLC titled Cats And Dogs. Following a chain of leaks that goes back to late last year, Maxis and EA finally announced that the incoming expansion will be launched on November 10.

One of the most notable features in "The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs" is create-a-pet that will allow Simmers to customize their own pets in the game.
