The highly-acclaimed open world action role-playing video game 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' is now coming to Nintendo Switch. Video- game developer Bethesda Game Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks allowed attendees of the recently held Gamescom event play the handheld version of Skyrim.

Several videos have begun to surface on YouTube as fans and players who got to play the game would like to share their first-hand experience. Many players have noticed the crisp visual quality of the game, a very likely possibility that the Nintendo Switch port had the same visual enhancements introduced in PS4 and Xbox One gaming consoles as compared to the graphic quality found in the original PS3 and Xbox 360 game versions.

But that's not all, the Nintendo Switch console is known for its versatility, a hybrid console capable of revolutionizing video game titles. Recently, Nintendo Switch announced an upcoming demo for 'Pokkén Tournament DX,' through Switch where players can play a local battle using the wonderful Joy-Con controllers. They can also enjoy Pokkén's DX version anywhere through Switch's tablet-like screen via the console's portable mode, or via their home TV through Switch's docked mode. As for Skyrim, players will be able to enjoy Nintendo Switch exclusive features like motion control for combat and lockpicking. They can also play whenever, wherever.

Cosplaying

Players will have the chance to unlock cool outfits and gear from 'The Legend of Zelda,' this includes legendary items like the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield.

Players can also dress up as Link by equipping the epic Champion’s Tunic.

The game is also amiibo compatible, players can get cool in-game bonuses by tapping their amiibo to the right Joy-Con controller's Right Stick. Skyrim's port to Nintendo Switch also includes official add-ons – Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn.

Motion controls

Players can use the Joy-Con controllers to attack with a sword, block with a shield, and fire off arrows towards enemies in the distance. Players will also be able to use this feature to pick locks, a really cool touch to an already epic video game.

As the moment, Nintendo has not provided fans and players with a specific date for the much-awaited release.

Based on Nintendo's website, the game could make just in time for this year's holiday season. Skyrim has won more than 200 Game of the Year Awards and has the potential to garner further achievements through Switch in the years to come.
