Summer started with the first Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago. This event turned into a mess when connection problems began for attendees. Due to this problem, Niantic had to calm the players down with gifted PokéCoins and other benefits in the app.

Luckily during this event, Lugia was released as the first legendary to capture in Pokémon GO. Throughout these weeks the legendary birds of the first generation have appeared in the game. Until recently, Mewtwo was the latest legendary newcomer to Pokémon GO.

Similar to what happened in the Pokémon GO Fest of Chicago where Lugia was presented, this time it happened in the Pokémon GO Stadium event in Yokohama, Japan where Mewtwo began to appear in the virtual reality game in the Japanese country.

In the event, thousands of people have been able to capture it through the Unique Incursions.

Now, the official website of Pokémon GO announces two new events in the US that could be the entrance of new Legendaries or possibly Mewtwo himself in America.

The new Pokémon GO Fest events in the USA.

The new Pokémon GO Fest to be held in the US will take place in September and October. The event will be held on September 17 and will take place at San José while the second festival will be in Philadelphia on October 28. In both cases, there will be several streets with activities for Pokémon GO players.

Nintendo World Championship

The finals of this tournament, which had been inactive for two years, will take place in October.

The venue will be the Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom in New York. It will be a great final round where video games, both classic and modern, will be the protagonists. The development of some of the qualifying events for the Nintendo World Championship coincides with the Pokémon championship, which for some players could be a clash of interests.

It is unknown if in any of these events will be the presentation of another Legendary Pokémon or that Mewtwo has arrived in the United States, but you should keep in mind that in previous events this strategy was used to present new Pokémon.

For the moment latest updates to the application have certainly served as a boon not only to the game itself but to the users that are continuing to play the application developed by Niantic, we can still enjoy the other legends like Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.

In the meantime, we look at the future, and the fans anxiously await the arrival of Generation III follow us on Blasting News.
