Square Enix finally announced the specific release date for their upcoming action-RPG game "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" on the PlayStation 4 console. The game will feature online battles along with well-known protagonists and characters from various Final Fantasy series. The team behind this game previously revealed its closed beta announcement. Participants will be limited but they encourage that many fans should participate for a more precise feedback on the game's system. In addition, these comments will help to further develop the game in the future.
Furthermore, Jecht was the new character for the said game. Just like what Square Enix promised, more characters will be unveiled in the future, revealing one character for each month. Going back on the specific release date, the game will be released on January 30 in North America while January 11 in Japan. There are also three editions to choose from.
Three editions
Here are the following versions of the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT:
- Digital Edition
Fans can choose from two choices in this edition: first, they can choose the Digital-only edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition that contains the "Nameless Warrior" skin for Warrior of Light, the copy of the game, and the game's Season Pass. On the other hand, the "Digital Edition" only contains the digital copy of the game with the said skin.
Digital Edition costs $59.99 while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $84.99.
- Steelbook Brawler Edition
This edition contains the Steel-book with an exclusive character design and cover. Fans will truly enjoy this as a collection. This edition costs $59.99
- Ultimate Collector's Edition
This edition has everything for a die-hard Final Fantasy fan.
This edition contains the following: a hardback art book with 80 pages, Collector's box containing Legendary Final Fantasy characters, 15 original soundtracks that are carefully selected from the game, Steel-book case that is the most unique among the others, a Season Pass. This Season Pass will give fans access to six new playable characters as well as the "content post launch." This ultimate edition costs $189.99 and an exclusive from the Square Enix Online Store.
The "Ultimate Box"
According to Gematsu, an "Ultimate Box" will be released along with the "Nameless Warrior" character skin for Warrior of Light, one of the characters in the game. This will be an entertaining game that fans around the globe will enjoy, especially next year.
