Following its exclusive release for PS4, "Cod: infinite warfare's" third DLC is now available for Xbox One and PC. The first-person shooter was developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 4, 2016. The game features the voice of "Game of Thrones" actor Kit Harrington as the antagonist, Rear Admiral Salen Kotch. The latest downloadable content features four new epic multiplayer maps and a new zombies co-op set in a small 1950's beach town. Players get to play on four new maps: Ember (a remake of Resistance from "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3"), Bermuda (a small town built around a shipwreck), Permafrost (a frozen city), and Fore (a wonderland of all sorts).

Apart from the new DLC, here's what makes "CoD: Infinite Warfare" a worthy game.

A new setting

The game introduced a new backdrop for the series, the outer space. New game play mechanics such as zero-gravity environments have been added where players are provided with boosters, and a grappling hook, which allows them to easily explore zero-gravity environments. Because the game is set in space, players are allowed explore different planets, satellites, and asteroids in the solar system.

Zombies

Just like most CoD titles, Infinite Warfare features the zombie game mode. Zombies in Call of Duty have been known to exist in an alternate setting and is more of a mini-game as its story tends to move away from the main plot of the game titles.

Infinite Warfare features four zombie game mode maps: Zombies in Spaceland (the first inclusive zombie map), Rave in the Redwoods (the first DLC), Shaolin Shuffle (the second downloadable content) and Attack of the Radioactive Thing (the third DLC and the latest addition).

The highlight of the latest update is the new zombies game mode map named the "Attack of the Radioactive Thing," Activision claimed it to be the next episode of the zombie's mode experience, the story follows a ham-handed government science research that went wrong turning unsuspicious suburban residents into flesh devouring creatures.

The DLC features guest voice work from Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors, Suicide Squad) and Cassandra Peterson (Elvira: Mistress of the Dark).

The Absolution pack currently sells for $15.00 but those who paid $50.00 for the game's season pass will get it for free. The season pass will also include weapons, supply drops, and salvage credits for the premium gaming experience. Fans who have followed the Call of Duty franchise will surely love this update as it arrives to Xbox One and PC platforms.
