As a senior alchemist, she’ll be sharing her knowledge with the sisters in the story. Sophie is described to be a bit of an airhead at times, but her skill and talent in alchemy are almost on par with her teacher. Sophie has been a protagonist of her own story as she starred as the protagonist of her own game called “Atelier Sophie.”

Liane Mistlud is a 22-year-old Hunter who runs her own shop called “Lovely Firis.” In "Atelier Lydie & Suelle,” she sells items she finds on her hunt to help her younger sister’s store. Liane is a skilled hunter and has a calm demeanor.

Synthesis System

Atelier Lydie & Suelle’s” synthesis system is described to be similar to a previous “Ateliergame. However, this new one seems to have a puzzle mechanic.

Players start by choosing ingredients to make an item.

After this, you can choose another ingredient that will bring special effect for that item. Players will notice a puzzle-like system that will lit up as they go along the synthesis.

Throughout the process, players can use “Activation Items.” These objects can help in synthesizing an item’s characteristics and effects.

Atelier Lydie &Suelle” will launch for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. It is scheduled to be released this winter.
