This summer is looking to be a bright one if you’re one of the many people that are anticipating top-notch Video Games about to be released this season. Whether you prefer shooter games or just want to play the latest fighting games against a friend, this summer won’t bring any disappointments.

With that said, here are the best games slated to hit the store shelves this summer in order of its release date.

“Splatoon 2.”

This game will be an exclusive for the Nintendo Switch and the successor to the Wii U original title.

Splatoon 2” is a third-person shooter game and is playable by up to eight players.

You control characters known as Inklings and utilize colored ink as your ammo to attack other players. This sequel also adds new content to the game such as the four-player co-op mode called “Salmon Run.”

This Nintendo title launches on July 21. Check out its trailer below.

“Uncharted: The Lost Legacy”

This action-adventure game is developed by Naughty Dog as a standalone expansion to the “Uncharted” game franchise. This time around, you play as Chloe Frazer as you solve puzzles, attack enemies by way of melee combat and traverse the game world on foot or by using vehicles.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy” is a PS4 exclusive and will arrive on August 22. Check out its trailer below.

“Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.”

This game is another exclusive for the Nintendo Switch, developed and published by Ubisoft.

It’s a turn-based role-playing game and a crossover between Nintendo’s Mario and Ubisoft’s Raving Rabbids game titles. This game was one of the big surprises during this year’s E3 event and is looking to be a promising title for the hybrid console.

“Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.”

Being one of Capcom’s most popular game titles, this game ups the ante by bringing in the Infinity Stones.

You can choose characters from both Marvel Comics and Capcom to compete in tag team battles. Players can instantly switch between characters to perform awesome looking combos.

As mentioned above, Capcom added the Infinity Stones into the game to give characters unique abilities depending on the type of stone that is selected.

“Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite” will arrive on Sept. 19 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the trailer below.
