The upcoming action role-playing game, “Kingdom Hearts 3,” has already been known to arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, during an interview with director Tetsuya Nomura with IGN at D23 Expo, the “Kingdom Hearts 3” director stated that the Nintendo Switch version of the game would be possible in the future.

Switch to feature 'Kingdom Hearts 3'

The director has subtly confirmed that once the studio is done with the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game, the “Kingdom Hearts 3” will come to the Nintendo Switch console. Nomura stated that the Switch is a very attractive platform for the upcoming action role-playing game.

But, the focus of Square Enix, for now, is on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Nevertheless, the upcoming game’s latest D23 trailer made it known that its gameplay involves exchanging blows with Heartless enemies in the computer-animated comedy adventure film, “Toy Story.” The video game is also said to feature a more engaging battle system. Square Enix is apparently set to release the video game sometime in 2018.

Video sharing website on Nintendo Switch

On the other hand, the video sharing website, NicoNico, has landed on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Although the app seems to resemble YouTube, unfortunately, it is available only in Japan. Nonetheless, Eurogamer clarified that a person from other parts of the world can still download NicoNico, but needs to have a Japanese Switch account.

Although the app may pale when compared to some of the streaming services, the arrival of NicoNico in Nintendo Switch could indicate that the Japanese tech company is serious in paving the way for other video streaming services. However, according to Vine Report, Nintendo exec Reggie Fils-Aime claimed that the firm is in talks with some streaming service providers.

Fils-Aime stated that the tech giant created the console to be a world-class gaming device, which means the company wants every Nintendo Switch player to have an incredibly fun experience. Fils-Aime added that the company is also talking to a range of firms about other services, such as Amazon and Hulu.

Furthermore, TechRadar reported that other leading streaming providers, like Netflix, could come to the Nintendo Switch soon. This could mean that gaming will likely become just one of the features of Nintendo’s console. There’s a possibility that video streaming might be the gaming system’s regular fixture.
