One of the biggest reveals at Bethesda's press conference was the sequel to "The Evil Within." It was a very successful game bearing a lot of suspense and great gameplay. The game had a good plot with a compelling protagonist, a lot of terrifying enemies, and that suspenseful feel that a good survival Horror Game should have. "The Evil Within 2" is slated to come out on October 13Th or Friday the 13th ironically. The game will be arriving on the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Recently, a trailer has been released by Bethesda with more details about the game.

The story

Of course, the game is being developed by the Bethesda-owned Tango Gameworks out of Japan. Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami is at the helm of the company.

The plot of the new game will involve the same protagonist as the first game named Sebastian Castellanos. The sequel will take place a few years after the first game. This time around he will return to the world to rescue his daughter Lilly. She was featured in the last game but for a bit. However, it will be a race against the clock as the world is falling apart and he will need to save his daughter or lose her to the world forever.

Gameplay

The game will take elements from the first game that made it so successful in the enemies or monsters.

Some will be horrifying and like demons that will pick apart at the protagonist's brain.

There will be many different weapons that a player can choose to use in the game to survive. The different weapons range from knives, proximity mines, tripwires, and flammable substances in the environment.

There will also be a The Last Chance Pack, which will obtain bonus items to those that pre-order the video game.

In the pack, it will contain an exclusive weapon called the Burst Handgun. The pack will also have to craft supplies and medical supplies to help a player survive. The crafting supplies can upgrade a weapon, craft ammo, or help kill monsters.

Xbox to use game to highlight its power
