"Injustice 2" gets more exciting with the addition of guest characters via DLC. Sub-zero is now available to play, but right before Starfire gets an introduction trailer, leaks have been hinting at two of the six secret characters coming in the game.

Starfire next after Sub-zero

The "Mortal Kombat" classic character Sub-zero has recently crossed over in "Injustice 2" universe and fans are now looking forward to getting their hands next on Starfire – a royal princess exiled on Earth named Koriand'r. She became a superhero that has the power to unleash her stored energy into a pseudo nova blast.

But even before her official debut, leaks have made the rounds online hinting two of the six more playable characters that will join the roster via DLC release. These are Raiden and Black Manta, although the nemesis of Aquaman was first teased in an image that contained silhouettes of DLC characters other than Starfire, Sub-zero, and Red Hood.

Raiden as guest character

News that Raiden might make his way to the game emerged a couple of months ago when an in-game reference was found pointing to his possible inclusion in the expanding roster of "Injustice 2."

It remains to be seen, however, if fans will be seeing the just and good Raiden or the Raiden in "Mortal Kombat X" where he plots to kill everyone who is a threat in order to defend his territory.

Black Manta tease

For the fans of the DC Extended Universe, it comes as an easy guess to spot Black Manta's silhouette in the image teased by NetherRealm studio. So, it's no longer a surprise to fans if arrives in the game at some point.

But back at E3 2017 last June, game director Ed Boon also pointed out what looked to be obvious and teased fans some more that it could be Aquaman's villain indeed.

Fans can check out this interview video below where Boon seemingly confirmed Black Manta as another playable DLC character.
