The game enthusiasts have been clamoring for the coming of “Grand Theft Auto 6” since time immemorial. “GTA 5” was first launched almost four years ago and Rockstar still has no news for a new installment.
Fans have been reeling for leaks and hints emerging online to get any information about the new game. But, the latest in the rumor mill is, unfortunately, fake.
A fake account
The motion capture actor Tim Neff has alleged listed mo-cap work for “Red Dead Redemption 2” and “Grand Theft Auto 6” on his resume. With that, excited game enthusiasts believe “GTA6” is now in the works.
However, the actor denied the claim, explaining that the alleged resume posted on Breakdown Express is actually fake. In fact, he doesn’t even have an account on the casting system website. In his Twitter post, he even said that he didn’t work on “GTA 6” and the listing is not real.
He even told PCGamesN (via IGN) that the page, account, and curriculum vitae are not his. Also, he doesn’t know that kind of online page exists. “I worked on 'GTA 5' a long time ago and haven't done anything since," he said.

Predicted game’s release date
Although that’s the case, there are now strong assumptions that “Grand Theft Auto 6” is going to be unveiled in between 2020 to 2024.
The Wedbush Security analyst Michael Pachter predicted (via Value Walk) that “GTA 6” will come out in 2024 the latest as Rockstar has a lot of work to do to make it more exceptional. However, some believe that it is very impractical. On the other hand, a YouTube user named Itz Frolickz revealed that “GTA 5” actually has an Easter egg that revealed its successor is going to come in 2021.
New additions fans want to see
Meanwhile, What Culture listed the things fans want to see in the coming “Grand Theft Auto 6.” Although Rockstar is now busy and focusing more on developing “Red Dead Redemption 2,” a new “GTA” will surely come.
One of it is a new map containing multiple cities that the player can roam and wander to do another wild adventure.
Another one is an option to play as a law enforcer, contradicting the usual criminal gameplay. It will be a new perspective for the game to include a playable police character. Although the title’s theme is always vetoed, this cop can be also a bandit.
In fact, there are a lot of possibilities if a role of law enforcement will be added into the game. They can be a good-guy hunting fugitives in the day, but they can also have criminal missions that still stays to its true concept.
