#Five Nights at Freddy’s” has become one of the more iconic horror games in modern gaming since the first installment released a few years back. The series has acquired quite a large fan following over the years as it has gotten over five titles. The game had also gotten plenty of attention when YouTubers would create “Let’s Plays” on their channel.

Despite its popularity, the creator has confirmed and canceled Five Nights at Freddy’s 6 in a recent blog post. After giving a deep thought about it, he has decided that he will not be pushing through with creating the game. In spite of this, he has confirmed that he will not stop working on video games altogether.

No more “Five Nights at Freddy’s”?

Video game designer ##Scott Cawthron recently posted a blog post on the Steam Community informing fans about his latest video game pursuits. In line with this, he confirmed that he had been dropping hints about a new game that was to be the latest installment in his horror game franchise. However, he soon burnt himself out after continuously working on the project due to the expectations he felt. He claimed that the expectation for each game continued to pile higher and higher.

In time, he felt too pressured by the whole project and even feared that he had been neglecting aspects of his life just to cope up with the “mounting expectations.” Because of this, he decided to quit working on the game altogether and has no plans on revealing anything related to it.

In fact, he has even told other people to not share any details about the canceled “Five Nights at Freddy’s” game.

The future for Scott Cawthorn

Despite his initial announcement, the designer has no plans of halting his gaming career. Instead, Cawthron simply wants to return when he found joy in creating video games. Similarly, he will not be abandoning the franchise as he brought up the topic of Foxy Fighters from Update 2 and how it took a lot of the pressure off of him. The designer also said that he would like to try making a pizzeria tycoon game too.

Moreover, Cawthron also talked about the movie and how smoothly it’s going along with wanting to get out a VR title at some point. With this in mind, it seems like Cawthron is far from done with the franchise. Instead, it seems like he’s taking a break yet he has not confirmed when or if he still plans on returning to the main series. Fans will just have to wait for more news regarding any future “Five Nights at Freddy’s” game.
