There are many things that Bungie would like players to experience in their upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter game. While introducing a heap of changes and new experiences, the game developer would also like to retain the core of the franchise. “Destiny 2” will not only be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but on PC as well. With the flock of possible new players, there is definitely something that the game developer will offer them to make them play the game easier and more fun.

New tool

In a recent interview with IGN, Game Director, Luke Smith revealed that “Destiny 2” will have a new tool called Milestone.

Apparently, it is an in-game guide that will guide players on the right thing to do. This is specifically useful for new ones, as aid will come to them with just a click of the button on the controller.

What can it do?

Mark Noseworthy, game’s Project Lead, also commented that the new tool will also allow an activity on the player’s destination to appear. If this happens, it means that the player has not done it yet. All this untouched activities or missions will be shown in the player’s Milestone tray. If the things on the menu tray are completed, the player will be entitled to a set of rewards. In Noseworthy’s words, the Milestone is an in-game priorities checklist that is available any given time.

Aside from showing the list of to-do, the new tool also offers a better path to progression. If the activities are done right and correctly, there is a big chance that the Milestone tab will lead a player to the path that will show where to get the Legendary drop or even when to raise the Light higher.

Milestone is only one of the many new additions that players will encounter in the upcoming game.

Bungie clearly emphasizes that it wants players to have fun and the best way to do it is to unhide the fun. Milestone will make things for gamers a lot simpler. It shows the hierarchy of priorities that players can do now or later and which rewards they want to get now. With a list of many in-game activities in the second installment of the game, it appears that Milestone will be one of the fan-favorite when the game is released.
