Call of Duty: infinite warfare has finally received the long-awaited Absolution DLC that is now live for download on the PS4. Activision has also launched the official release trailer for the third map pack. Here's what's included.

New Zombies Chapter

The Absolution map pack for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will continue the Zombies chapter called Attack of the Radioactive Thing and this time it is set in the 1950s era. The four heroes are zapped in a suburban area that's full of inhabitants turned into flesh-eating zombies when a covert government experiment had messed up.

The theme of this new chapter is inspired by the Creature Feature movies from the 1950s, featuring the horror movie icon Elvira. She will be helping players with some tips and side quests in order to survive.

Four New Multiplayer Maps

Absolution DLC introduces four new maps in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" called Ember, Bermuda, Permafrost, and Fore.

Ember is a reimagined Resistance map from "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" and it takes place in an old town castle. Bermuda, as the name implies, is a beach environment and players fight in a shanty town and a crashed ship.

Permafrost is a tight-quarter map featuring a train station, hobo village, and ruined theater and lastly, Fore is a large map that lets players fight in a mini-golf course.

Absolution is included in the $50 season pass, but it can be purchased individually at $15. There is no official release date yet on when the third map pack will hit Xbox One and PC but it is expected to arrive in August.
