What many players love the most about the entire “Assassin’s Creed” franchise is the level of intensity it offers, along with various parkour stunts and stealthy moves. More importantly, however, the storylines have depth -- all contributing to the successful franchise as a whole.

Now, Ubisoft is set to bring the fun in the mobile game realm with a new title called “Assassin’s Creed Rebellion.” The studio is teaming up with titular developer Behaviour Interactive (also known for Bethesda’s “Fallout Shelter") to bring the best of the upcoming game.

Here is everything about it in a nutshell.

What the game is all about

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion” will be developed for both iOS and Android devices. It falls under the category of free-to-play apps, though its release is still a mystery. Interestingly, reports about the game's footage surfaced online, showing off what appears to be its core gameplay. Some enthusiasts believe that it somehow shares the same base system with “Fallout Shelter.”

According to Eurogamer, the aforementioned mobile game contains the same elements found in “Assassin’s Creed Chronicles” trilogy of side-scrollers. These were developed by Client Studios, a UK-based video game company. The only difference with Ubisoft’s game, though, is its chibi art style.

Interestingly, the forthcoming game will be offering a new approach to the strategy RPG genre. As to what exactly this is, it remains to be unseen.

The goal of the game

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion” will task players to build their own brotherhood of assassin, manage various fortresses and take missions to destroy the Templars.

They will be given the option to choose from a total of 40 assassins, each having unique skills and capabilities. Among these assassins are franchise repeats such as Aguilar, Claudia, Machiavelli and Ezio, among others. Perhaps the most interesting part here is the introduction of a new Animus, which is now able to merge multiple memories from multiple assassins.

This time around, though, the game will feature Spain’s triumphant times during the 15th century.

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion,” like any other RPG titles of today, will also sport a level and stat progression system. However, players will have to determine the right assassin in each mission; otherwise, they will fail. Furthermore, they can expand their fortress in each level up of their brotherhood. The recommended iOS and Android versions are 8 and 4.1, respectively. As for its RAM requirement, it is sitting at 2 GB.
