niantic labs has been keeping true to its promise of keeping its players engaged by releasing events and updates in “Pokemon Go.” So far, trainers were pleased with the arrival of the Shinies through Magikarp in the recent Water Event. However, the three major updates are yet to roll within this year as promised by the game developer. While waiting for the update, it appears that a new event will be released soon, and a recent leak has all the details.

Latest leak

Following the Rock-type event, it appears that something is in the works if the recent leak is to be believed.

According to Team Eevolution, another event for a specific kind of pocket monsters will be announced soon. In addition, this time, it will not only involve one but two types of creatures.

Ice and Fire type event

Team Eevolution again disclosed that the next augmented reality game event will involve Ice and Fire type pocket monsters. It can be recalled that the same team is responsible for leaking the Water-type, and the Easter events. Moreover, the information they provided in the past were accurate as it turned out to be the exact same statement that the company released.

Players can expect that starting 1 PM (Pacific time) on June 13 until 1 PM (Pacific time) on June 20, creatures like Cyndaquil, Growlithe, Houndour, Ponyta, Swinub, Vulpix, and Charmandler will be flocking the game.

Aside from those, the alleged social media announcement of Niantic Labs also revealed Sneasel, Magmar, Cloyster, and all other Ice and Fire type of monsters in the game.

This is the first time the game developer will release an activity that will intensify the possibility of catching two kinds of monsters. As to the reason behind the developer’s recent move in launching this kind of event, the most probable speculation would be to honor “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R.

Martin.

Special bonuses

The upcoming “Pokemon GoIce and Fire type event will reward players with XP bonuses every time they capture a pocket monster with throws ranging from Nice, Great, and Excellent.

There are also First Throws and Curveballs to give XP bonuses. Aside from the bonuses and the higher chances of catching Ice and Fire type pocket monsters, players can also level up fast in the game. In addition, trainers will get more XP by hatching eggs and a chance to buy Lucky eggs for half the price.

We will give you more updates about the upcoming "Pokemon Go" Ice and Fire event as soon as official information becomes available. Let us hope, the leak provided by Team Eevolution is accurate so players will have to wait for a few more days before it starts.
