Niantic's "Pokemon GO" has not lost its excitement as it continues to deliver new challenges to players. But recently, a Leaked information about an event for the interactive game circulated online; exposing the massive XP bonus players can get when they participate. According to the news, it has something to do with several Fire and Ice type Pokemon and their respective evolutions.

More details about the leaked event suggested that the Fire Type and Ice Type challenge will begin on June 13 at 1:00 p.m. PDT to June 20 at 1:00 p.m. PDT. Among the leaked Pokemon that are expected to join the Fire and Ice Type include Magmar, Sneaser and Cloyster.

However, the evolutions of Cyndaquile, Charmander, Vulpix, Hounder, Ponyta, Growlithe and Swinub will be discovered on the said event.

Additionally, players will be rewarded with 50% off on Lucky Eggs, which can be found in Niantic's in-game store. The event is not surprising given how the developer previously launched such activities, like the Rock-type Adventure Week on May, and before that; the Easter event on April. But it was in March when Niantic launched the Water Festival to trainers and that's how the whole "Pokemon GO" events turned out.

One of the most successful interactive mobile game today

Since its launch in July 2016, the game has weathered several trials including fake applications that allows players to catch as many Pokemon as they can.

Cheat sheets were slowly discovered and trainers found a way to catch them without leaving their own workplace. Game developer Niantic quickly fixed the problem by pushing those who committed such cheating; banning them from joining the game.

The company has not confirmed the leaked "Pokemon GO" event, but its timing couldn't be more perfect.

The event will, however, most likely happen this month.

Update on the latest version of the game

According to the latest update on the game, a new version has been released for both Android and iOS users. Apparently, versions 1.33.4 and 0.63.4 both feature fixes for login errors for these two platforms. A new feature on Android's application has also been implemented in order to trace fake activities within the game.

Unfortunately, these are not the big updates expected for the game. In fact, fans can expect a bigger and better "Pokemon GO" update in the coming months, which might also feature the coming of the legendary Pokemon.
