Ever since 1999, Forbes has been sharing its annual Celebrity 100 list, showing who the highest paid stars were for the past twelve months.

In 2017, the first celebrity to be No. 1 on the list is none other than Puff Diddy with a net worth of $820 million. Forbes has reported that world’s 100 highest-paid celebs have banked a cumulative $5.15 billion from June 2016 to June 2017. Estimates are based on interviews with industry insiders and figures from NPD Bookscan, Box Office Mojo, Nielsen, Pollstar, Songkick, IMDB and D'Marie.

Born in November 1969, Sean John Combs is known by his stage name Puff Daddy. He is a famous American rapper, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur. Sean Johns was Born And Raised in New York City, and he began working as a talent director at Uptown Records in 1993.

Forbes has listed her as the second highest-paid celebrity of 2017. In 2015, Beyonce was listed as the most influential female in entertainment.

Born in July 1965, Joanne Rowling is a British screenwriter, film producer, and novelist. She is best known for her “Harry Potter” novel series. The books gained worldwide attention and sold more than 30 million copies from 1997 to 2015.

She published her first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, in 1997, followed by six sequels of the same name.

Additionally, Joanna released The Cuckoo's Calling, The Silkworm, and Career of Evil like novels from 2013 to 2015. The 2017 Sunday Times Rich List estimates Rowling's fortune at $550 million, ranking her as the 197th richest person in the United Kingdom. As of Forbes, Joanne Rowling is the most influential woman in Britain.

Other famous names on the list are Coldplay ($88 million), James Patterson ($87 million), Rush Limbaugh ($84 million), Justin Bieber ($83.5 million), and Ellen DeGeneres ($77 million).
