Everybody does not have the same habits when it comes to how much sleep they get, when they get it, and how they get it. Scientists and sleep experts have discovered various Sleep Habits and what that means when it comes to people's personalities and lifestyles. Sleep habits can affect how people do things while they are awake.

How much sleep a person gets has a lot to do with his mood, weight, and work, according to Dr. Ying-Hui Fu of the Department of Neurology at the University of California. While people have different sleep habits, there are some things that are unique with all the habits.

Morning people

People who wake up early and get out of bed early are considered Morning people. That means they are more productive in the morning and they fizzle out in the evening. Morning people wake up early even on the weekends and when they are on vacation. If you know morning people, feel free to get them to do things for you in the morning and never in the evening.

Evening people

While some people are morning people, there are just as many who are evening people. They are more productive in the evening when they are not sleepy. That is also the time when evening people have more energy and creativity. It would be a mistake to call on an evening person to do something for you in the morning.

Nappers

Some people have a habit of taking a nap every single day. They become cranky if they don't get a nap. So, if people tell you they need a nap, don't argue. Let them take their nap. After their necessary nap, people are more productive. They are also less stressful after a nap no matter how short it is.

Weekend sleepers

Some people can stay up late at night during the week, but they sleep late on weekends trying to make up for the sleep they missed during the week. Getting extra sleep on the weekend helps, but it is not healthy to stay up late all the time and try to make up for it on the weekends. It should not be a regular habit because it could affect a person's immune system, attention span, and mood.

Hard time waking up

If people have a hard time waking up and getting out of bed in the morning, there might be a good reason for it. Either the person is going to bed very late or something is keeping the person from sleeping soundly doing the night. At any rate, he just can't seem to be able to make himself get out of bed, and when he does force himself to get up, he is still tired. If this happens over and over, the person should change his sleeping habits.
